ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Joka is a premier government-run medical college under the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), a statutory body under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. Established in 2013, the college is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Initially approved for 100 MBBS seats, ESIC Medical College Joka now admits 125 students annually. The admission process is through NEET UG under three quotas:

• 15% All India Quota (AIQ)
• 35% State Quota (WBMCC counselling)
• 50% ESIC Insured Persons (IP) Quota
